A Country Star Born Against the Odds
In Italy, country music isn’t exactly mainstream. Yet from a young age, Mikol’s heart beat to the sounds of Nashville rather than Naples. Inspired by icons like Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Bruce Springsteen, she began writing songs that married her Italian soul with the raw storytelling roots of Americana.
That fusion led her to become the first Italian artist ever recognized for country music in the United States, receiving accolades just after graduating high school—an early sign of a career destined for global impact.
Resilience in Rhythm
At 23, Mikol received a life-changing diagnosis of fibromyalgia, a chronic condition that forced her to reassess everything—but not her music. Instead of pulling back, she leaned in, channeling her pain, strength, and vulnerability into her art. The result? Her 2021 independent album “Untypical”. The release became a surprise streaming success in Italy and recently made its debut on the UK Country Albums Chart at #39, a feat few independent artists can claim.
“Stories To Tell”: A Fighter’s Diary in Song
This year, Mikol unveiled her new EP, “Stories To Tell,” a deeply personal and emotionally rich project released in collaboration with Delma Jag Records. It features her most streamed song “My Whole Life In A Memory”, the nostalgic anthem “Dream Back”, and a standout collaboration with Nashville producer Kate Malone.
A masterful blend of country, rock, and blues, the EP captures the rawness of real life—the highs, lows, and everything in between. “It’s the sound of someone who refuses to be boxed in,” noted one industry critic. “She’s country in spirit, but unmistakably Mikol.”
From Buckle & Boots to Broadway—Mikol on Tour
Mikol’s 2024 international tour kicked off in May at Buckle & Boots Festival in Manchester, sharing the bill with names like Taylor Moss and Canaan Cox. From the rolling hills of Europe to iconic cities across the U.S., she’s captivating crowds as a one-woman band—just her voice, her guitar, and a stage.
